Privacy policy

This policy explains what information BanaoStore ("we", "us") collects when you use banaostore.com, our merchant dashboards and the storefronts we host, and how we handle it. BanaoStore is operated by NxtGenAiDev, India.

Information we collect

• Contact details you give us — name, phone number, email and shop details when you fill our contact form or sign up as a merchant.
• Account information — login identifiers used to authenticate you. Login is OTP-based; we never store your passwords.
• Store data — products, orders, customers and settings that merchants add to run their stores. This data belongs to the merchant.
• Technical data — IP address, browser type and pages visited, used for security and to improve the service.

How we use it

• To provide and operate your store and dashboard
• To contact you about your account, onboarding and support requests
• To secure the platform (fraud prevention, rate limiting, audit logs)
• To improve the product — always on aggregated, de-identified usage data

We do not sell personal data. Ever.

Payments

Payments on merchant stores are processed by Razorpay through each merchant's own Razorpay account. Card and UPI details are handled by Razorpay and never touch our servers. Merchant API credentials we store on their behalf are encrypted before storage.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for login sessions and a preference cookie for your light/dark theme choice. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Data sharing

We share data only with the service providers required to run the platform (cloud hosting, payment processing, image storage), each bound to use it solely to provide their service — and with authorities where the law requires it.

Data retention & your rights

We keep your data while your account is active. You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by writing to support@banaostore.com. Merchants leaving the platform receive an export of their catalog and order data on request.

Changes

If we change this policy materially, we'll notify merchants by email and update the date at the top of this page.
